- Glenn Beck was right and the left won't admit it. I bought gold back when it was around $750 and had been buying it monthly until it hit about $1100. I've been sitting on it eve since. I plan to sell 2/3s of my total investment when it hits $2400, which won't be long.

- The whole Pell Grant system is a joke. The only people that qualify for Pell fall into the 50% of the population that doesn't pay any federal income tax. Pell should not be income based but should be based on performance (GPA or ACT/SAT scores).

- It is all smoke a mirrors. They want to raise the ceiling by $1.5T with matches in spending cuts of $1.5T. The problem is the increase will happen in a single year where as the cuts will happen over 10 years. What a deal!!! Match the revenues to the expenditures.
